Clearing the history files on a computer that does this also delete the bookmark saved say 30 days?
I'm trying to release excess files and such on my computer to make it work better and have less hard drive space. I am using the Disk Cleanup as well.
Deleted of history is clear the list showing all the sites you have visited during the last 30 days. Do not delete cached files from the sites. You would to go to Internet Explorer> Tools> Internet Options and click Delete Files and Delete Cookies buttons to get rid of them. The list of real history is very small. Clear History does not have enough space on your computer to make a difference. It is only a single file with a list of URLs. Would be about as clear a text or document Word. To free space on your computer, try CCleaner to clean is http://ccleaner.com history, registry, temporary files, etc. easier than that can be hand-carried.
